Second place went to Paul Miller of Team Carib Data, and third was Frederic de Mesel of Team "Burning Flames" from Antigua.

The St. Maarten Team 1 consisting of Andrea Scarabelli, Robbie Ferron and Bernard Sillem sailed away with the Challenge Trophy.

The competition was fierce from the start. In fact the first start saw the first protest of the regatta.

Sea and wind conditions were generally moderate however at least one mishap occurred. Skipper Dr. Luc Knol fell and dislocated his shoulder.
