GUADELOUPE --Berit Bus and Allison de Monteclair moved into third place after two days of racing in the Femina Adventure.
The annual adventure race, is being contested in Guadeloupe this year. A total of 75 teams consisting of two females test their skills in many different sports over six days of intense racing. The racing takes them all over the island to fit in the different disciplines
The first days consisted of running, hiking, swimming and kayaking.
Other disciplines to follow are rock climbing, sailing, windsurfing, night hikes and runs.
The two SXM athletes have been training for 9 month to practice the different sports
to represent Dutch and French SXM against teams from all over the world. The athletes were able to train and participate in the competition with support from sponsors: Super U, Vie L’ven, GreenMeds, Pyratz, Trisport, GoSport and the Scuba Shop.
