“Natural Elements” combines elements like bamboo, electricity, heat and grapes to bring you health, beauty and wellbeing in a new and unique way on Sint Maarten.
Owners Nadav and Tara are a husband-wife team that has brought their expertise in these areas to the island. Tara studied Massage Therapy at Florida College of Natural Therapy and has a lot of knowledge of how the human body works. She also has a lot of experience with working with the HIDow TENS machines that they sell, which is just one of the cool products you can find at their new store.
HIDow TENS Machines
TENS stands for Transcutaneous (through the skin) Electrical Nerve Stimulation and is a treatment that uses electrical currents to relieve pain and provide other therapeutic benefits. A gentle electrical current is passed through electrodes which are attached to the skin near the site of the pain or discomfort. The pulses send bio-electrical signals through the central nervous system, thus blocking pain receptors, exactly the same way a strong painkiller would work. The current is produced by a small battery-operated device, which is portable and easy to use making it ideal to provide your own therapeutic treatment at home or work.
The brain then releases endorphins which are a “feel good” chemical and act as a natural pain killer. These pulses stimulate muscles, increase blood flow to the damaged or painful area and provide therapeutic benefits ranging in relief from back pain, neck and shoulder pain, joint pain, increased circulation, relaxation and numerous other ailments.
Featuring less than a 1% damage rate, these are a very good investment for those of you suffering with various kinds of physical pain. They are also used by physical therapists and are very clearly and carefully demonstrated by Tara and Nadav.
e-Valectric Hair Straighteners and Hair Products
These are nicely designed high-end hair straighteners which come in ceramic or titanium (for extremely hard to manage hair) or a mineral-coated ceramic (especially great for very shiny results). What’s especially neat is that these hair-straighteners come ready to travel; with dual voltage (you can use them on both sides of the island), Natural Elements also gives the adaptor for free.
What else is awesome about these hair straighteners? They can go up to 480° F, but they also come with a Lifetime Warranty that counts here on the island. Yes, you read correctly. Any problems with the hair straighteners can be dealt with here at the store.
VineVera Skincare
The latest word in skincare is Resveratrol. Not only is it the latest, but it’s very, very powerful. Bamboo Pillow
Made of bamboo material, these pillows make you sleep like a baby. Why? Apparently, bamboo has many advantages. Bamboo pillows are resistant to mites, odours and germs which is very important, especially on St. Maarten, with dust being a problem here. Bamboo fabric is also known to be anti-static, durable and breathable. These pillows are anti-microbial, hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, odour-resistant, germ-resistant, anti-static, breathable fabric, moisture wicking, temperature regulating (no sweating here – I know what I’m talking about).
After hearing about these pillows and having suffered from shoulder and neck pain the past year, I bought some of them. All my family members love these pillows; we all sleep better with them and my pain has been significantly lessened. I also feel super comfortable sleeping with them because I have allergies, and the fact that they are resistant to dust-mites, germs, anti-microbial and hypoallergenic is important to me. Also, they don’t lose their shape; and I love that they are made with bamboo material all the way through – cover, pillow and all – and that you can take off the cover separately and wash.
