Why is everyone talking about coconut? “Coconut oil will set you free...” “Coconut oil contains the healthiest substance on earth...” These are just two of the clichés and phrases we get when we open just about any magazine or go on the web. Seriously, though, there are many health benefits to this simple vegetable.
Here are some tips about coconut that may help to give a boost to your body, brain and beauty:

• Work-out recovery – Coconut water is rich in a range of electrolytes – particularly potassium that we lose during exercise when we sweat. It contains 94% water and less sugar than most sport drinks, making it the ideal way to replenish fluids after the gym or a run on the bridge.
