Like me, do you get an overload of how to do your fitness? Follow this, follow that, do this, do that... Maybe I am old fashioned, but I honestly can’t stand all that crazy talk about what we have to do and what we should leave.
In the end, it’s all the same, isn’t it? Eat healthy, move that body and the rest in moderation. As I am all about fitness; I love to work out and feed my muscles with the right nutrition – but that is me. That does not mean that I expect everybody to be the same. However – and that is in my nature – I want people to be happy and healthy. So yes, I would preach health to you; but I don’t expect you to go crazy on it.
When people see me out during the weekends, they are surprised that they see me with a glass straight on the rocks vodka and even a cigarette a times. Is that healthy? Not sure about the vodka; but I know the cigarette is absolutely not healthy.
But what can I do; I just love life and I feel like I have to live every day like my last. We never know what time it is. So I train, keep my body fit to do all the things I love, eat reasonably healthy and enjoy the weekends with a drink and sometimes a cigarette in moderation.
So in order to get that summer body, I have to train myself at least four times a week. That’s probably more then you have to train, but my body is so accustomed to movement that it needs a bit more than yours. On top of that, my age is starting to work a bit against me also – I mean at 51 plus, it’s not like being 30 anymore. Boy, if I knew what I know now, I would have started way before that.
All this said, I just hope that you love your body so much to make it work to its fullest. In other words, you put gasoline in your car right? Otherwise, it won’t work. Well, do the same for your body, and you will be amazed at how great you can feel. Put a bit of effort into your food habits and you will be so happy.
