~ A Collective Event ~
Manrique Capriles in collaboration with EduCare Foundation presents to you an open house information session on different topics regarding “our babies.” The event was labelled a collective effort as we are aware that we need to involve the community and filter down educational programs that ultimately will benefit and enhance the care of our babies. In order to reach this goal, we understand that we need to involve different parties that have the same interest.
As you know, Manrique Capriles has been the distributor for one of the world’s leading brands, Johnson’s Baby, for over 20 years on this market. We are proud to be a distributor. Aside from offering you quality products, we also offer programs that will give you a larger understanding on different topics regarding baby care (breast feeding, baby bath, baby formula, prevention, post and natal care, consumer products, etc., etc., etc.).
On June 12, we invite the general public, especially new moms or soon to be moms, to come out to this information session at University of St. Martin from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The idea is to have different stands that the attendees can roam and ask questions pertaining to their individual interest. The event is an open house so you do not need to sign up or reserve attendance.
EduCare Foundation
Our goal as a foundation is to assist the community with services that will enhance their quality of life and increase their knowledge and their ability to succeed in various aspects pertaining to pre- and post-natal care, early childhood education (0-4 years old), starting in the second trimester of pregnancy. This will be done through the following services:
-Prenatal services: Information sessions (workshops and distribution of information material) and Lamaze classes.
-Postnatal care: Post-partum home care for mother and child with the emphasis on the importance of breastfeeding.
-Early Childhood Education: 0-4 years of age in adherence with the High Scope Curriculum. The High Scope Curriculum approach supports active participatory learning while supporting children at their current developmental level while helping them build upon their abilities.
These services will be available as of September 1. Monitor our FB page for our ongoing activities before the grand opening.
Board members are Sabrina Vrutaal, Marcella Richardson, Vanessa Bruney and Elisa Kingsale.
Our promo team and professional team in this area will be present to assist in bringing awareness during this lecture as we have to recognize that education and proper research are key answers pertaining to the different baby topics.
Manrique Capriles & Sons would like to thank EduCare for being on board and agreeing that collectively we can take care of our babies.
