What We're using!

~ Fresh 'Sweet Head Island Made' Facial ~

I am so excited to share my love for the all-new Sweet Head Island Made line of all-natural and organic cosmetics! Think lip balms, natural hair-relaxers, skin creams and butters, shampoos and conditioners, toners, face-rejuvenating products and more – made from plants, fruits, vegetables and herbs and oils found both here on St. Maarten and all over the Caribbean.

Yes! You heard right. There are fruit smoothies and nut-butter-like concoctions so pure you can literally eat them. Imagine having the luxury of a facial that was prepared for you just hours before your appointment, or maybe in just an hour even, tailored just for your skin-type.

How was this done? Creator Taymer Mason, who is a Barbadian MicroBiologist, author and travelling vegan chef, combined her love for the sciences and healthy cooking to make a product line that's safe for all ages. Taymer produces and bottles the cosmetics right in her very own house mini lab! She handpicks many of her ingredients, right here, including coconut, hibiscus, moringa and much more.

Being a Microbiologist, she knows how to formulate the products to attain the desired results. And boy what a difference you can feel after having a treatment! I was fortunate enough to have one of these treatments in her home last Friday. My skin felt and looked so good afterwards; I am definitely a new fan.

My treatment consisted of Sweet Head Island Made toner (pure witch hazel with fresh rosemary soaking in it), Sweet Head Island Made passion fruit scrub (with passion fruit, dead-sea salt and oils), Sweet Head Island Made Face Shell Loose Clay Mask (which can be mixed to accommodate oily, dry or combination skin), Sweet Head coconut milk and avocado cream to add moisture and Sweet Head molasses mixed with lavender buds for an anti-ageing effect (you can really feel the effects deep within your skin).

My skin looked super refreshed, rejuvenated and had an all-natural glow – thanks to the combination of treatments for my 30-something-year-old skin.

You can catch Sweet Head cosmetics Line at the GNO-Girls' Night Out happening this Saturday from 6:00-12:00pm. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more info about Sweet Head Island Made.
