Dock opening at 3:00-6:00pm
On Saturday, April 21, an event that many are looking forward to will be taking place at St. Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC) – this will be the opening of the newly built dock that the small boats tie up to.
At the party, adults and youngsters will hear about what damage happened to the old dock when Hurricane Irma came through. They will also hear about the rebuilding progress, but there will be so much more to enjoy and see and take part in during the party.
Watch the new fleet sail back after an afternoon of racing and join in the raffle to have a chance of winning fabulous prizes! You will be supporting the Youth Sailing program and rebuilding efforts by taking part in the raffle. There are lovely prizes to be won.
Party time at the yacht is a fabulous family affair – everyone, all ages, can enjoy themselves. If you are interested in sailing lessons, you can chat to members and the sailing instructors of the youth sailing program and learn all about it.
