Art Saves Lives is hosting a July 4-8 salsa workshop this summer. Ai-ai-ai! As this class is only open to adults ages 18 and up, it’s a chance for all those foxy mamas to get out and learn some new moves or brush up on the old ones. It’s a perfect opportunity for young men and women to learn new steps and pick up new loves, especially when learning how to salsa.
Date night getting a bit boring with your honey? There’s a special function coming up on your calendar. Go to the workshop as a couple and receive the couple’s rate.
Classes are at Princess Port De Plaisance – Monday-Friday 6:30 to 8:00pm – perfect for those working a 9:00-5:00 job and seeking a little after-work excitement. It’s also the perfect time for single participants to ask their dance partner out for a drink or possibly dinner.
What’s more is that it’s part of Art Saves Lives 2016 Summer Intensive so you know you’ll get one of the best salsa teachers around. This year it’s acclaimed choreographer and director Maria Torres, who not only has extensive experience in theatre, film and television, but she’s also currently the associate choreographer for Gloria Estefan’s On Your Feet! Broadway show.
Torres has also choreographed Enrique Iglesias music video for his hit single Bailamos. So, dancers old and new, if you want to learn salsa from an accomplished teacher; look no further than Art Saves Lives Salsa Workshop with Maria Torres.
Cost is $75 per person for the entire workshop. Send email to info@artsaveslivesfound>
