A chance to sample the cuisine of restaurants old & new!
This Sunday, July 3 the Taste of St. Maarten at Topper’s in Simpson Bay is back and better than ever.
With thirty nine restaurants participating, multiple kids activities, music, and performances the day is sure to be a blast for families, and friends alike. The Day starts at eleven in the morning, perfect for the lunchtime craze. With free entry one simple has to show up.
As each restaurant prepares a sample of their most popular dish and prices it accordingly - you can sample several of the taster dishes before you’ve paid for the equivalent of one regular meal out. The list of cuisines includes Japanese, Indian, and Italian, Ice cream, sweets, and much, much more. So go and travel around the world with food without leaving the beauty of St. Maarten.
There’s something for the kids to do while you’re on your food odyssey. With trampolines, face painting, and festival toys available your kids will have a blast. Don’t forget to pack their bathing suits as there will be water slides on location as well.
The event won’t only take you around the world with food but also to a concert and Broadway show. With K-banna as the music head liner and the Dance Theater of St. Maarten performing, your day will be anything but dull.
What’s more - it’s all for a good cause as well. This entire event raises money for the St. Maarten Rotary club. A percentage of the fee the restaurant must pay to use a booth at the Taste of St. Maarten event is donated, as well as all the proceeds from the ILTT bar. So make sure to buy some drinks from there to support the Rotary club.
Tents and seating to eat your delicious samples is also provided for all.
The day only ends at seven in the evening so you can pop in and out of the event all afternoon.
Don’t miss this fabulous day of fun and opportunity at Topper’s in Simpson Bay, Welfare Road.
There is easy parking; remember the event is outside so wear sun protection and stay hydrated.
