Be the Change and Buccaneer Beach Bar are doing it again – and it’s happening this Sunday, December 8, from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Buccaneer Beach Bar, located at 10 Billy Folly Road, Pelican Key (Kim Sha Beach) – just in time to find really awesome Christmas gifts for all your friends and family without breaking the bank. If Santa did not have his elves, he too would be shopping at “Be the Change” Flea Market!
Be the Change
The mission of “Be the Change” is to encourage the St. Maarten community to actively contribute to various non-profit organizations and local causes. This is done by way of igniting a social, philanthropic movement, hence making a united effort to change and improve life on the island.
But it gets even better! While your kids have fun and learn valuable life lessons, you can enjoy the beach with free beach chairs and umbrellas with orders from Buccaneer’s finger-licking grill menu.
Everybody is invited to participate in the flea market fundraiser: Either enjoy shopping at bargain prices or use the opportunity to sell what you no longer have space for in your own garage or closet.
SeaFun Watersports will be on the premises to offer a bunch of activities like tubing, flyboard, jet pack and jet ski rentals.
If you would like to join the fundraiser as a vendor, simply start gathering your treasures and find a table, blanket or shelf you can bring to display your goods. All profits are yours to keep! Only for the space you use, you donate $10/m. All vendors have to be at Buccaneer Beach Bar at 9:00am to have a space assigned. The flea market will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
Your kids will have a blast with their friends while practicing their math and business skills, you can spend quality time with your loved ones in a relaxed atmosphere and at the end of the day; you might take more money home than you brought. Doing a good thing has never been more fun. Don’t you agree?
