~ An Aqua Mania Adventure ~
This unique morning outing combines a champagne breakfast buffet with smooth coastal sailing and swimming in one great trip. What better way to start off the day than to enjoy breakfast on the crystal clear waters of St. Maarten!
We checked in to Aqua Mania at 9:00am on the dot. The wonderful girls at the front desk greeted us enthusiastically and said departure was at 9:30am – then down came the rain! A little bit of water from the sky did not deter the amazing crew from getting the yacht ready for our imminent departure which happened exactly as stated. We left the dock and were underway and almost immediately breakfast was served – and what a great breakfast it was!
Not only a great breakfast but the bar, which offered copious amounts of champers and OJ, was open for everyone’s enjoyment. From Bloody Mary to a refreshing new take on the Mimosa – the Pointsetter, a champers and cranberry cocktail – the great service set the party mood. A dinghy came out to the stern of the boat as we sailed across Simpson Bay bringing a box of the most delicious and heavenly smelling fresh pastries – there is simply nothing more appealing than a crispy, just delivered croissant, a chilled Mimosa, the swish of the turquoise ocean and a gentle breeze to start your day off right!
Tango cruised to Long Bay and dropped anchor in crystal clear water, the sun shone brightly, the weather was warm and the water perfect for a swim. One of the most fun features on Tango is the water slide off the stern. The crew showed us how to make the most of this fun aspect. They are amazing!
On the return, they got everyone dancing along to some fine tunes. Yes, sadly, the morning breakfast cruise had to come to an end – but this happy camper will definitely do this again! The Caribbean Breakfast Buffet includes fresh and delicious pastries from La Sucriere (sweet and savoury), yogurt and granola, muffins, fresh cut fruit, baguette, cheeses and cold cuts. Fresh brewed coffee, tea, juices and tropical mimosas served at the open bar!
