A Glowing Yoga Event

Join Joga for a glowing yoga event on February 3, at 7:00pm, when the talented and thoughtful yoga-teachers hold a rocking Vinyasa flow class featuring music, glow sticks, body paint and black lights! So wear your best white or fluorescent-coloured yoga outfit and come have a fun and different yoga session at Joga.

Yoga is a 5,000-year-old Indian body of knowledge. Though many think of yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch and breathe in the most complex of ways, these are actually only one small aspect of this profound science of unfolding the infinite potentials of the human mind and soul. The science of Yoga imbibes the complete essence of the Way of Life.

Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. Vinyasa can be decoded from its root words Nyasa, denoting "to place", and Vi, denoting "in a special way." It symbolizes a flowing, dynamic form of yoga, where postures are linked together using breath.

Arrive at 7:00pm and prepare for class that begins at 7:30pm. Drop-in rate is $20 or you can use your regular Joga class card. Glow sticks and body paint will be provided! Beginners and experienced persons are all welcome.

Joga also offers delicious healthy meals, fresh juices and daily yoga and Pilates classes. Check out their website: www.jogasxm.com for more details and follow their facebook page for upcoming specials, classes and workshops! Joga is located on the lagoon in the building behind IBC First Caribbean Bank.
