Lucky for all of us here on SXM, we are on Orange Grove's Summer Tour list, and where else than the super sweet location of Loterie Farm! Orange Grove (OG) is about to play the final show of the Caribbean part of their Summer Tour at Loterie Farm this Saturday, August 8! Everybody knows the Garden Groove parties! Everybody loves chilling, dancing and enjoying live entertainment in Loterie Farm's all natural beautiful surroundings.
A Sint Maarten-bred band, OG's music is a melting pot of everything they love: Traces of rock, hip-hop and reggae are splattered all over their sound. OG wants to move more than people's bodies; OG won't stop until they have infiltrated our minds and spirits with their infectious sounds and vibrations.
For more than 10 years, they have continued to expand their fan base from the Caribbean to Europe all the way back across the Atlantic to the United States. This group of five dedicated and driven individuals forms an unstoppable assembly with one goal in sight: Spreading the feel-good vibes to the world!
OG has just arrived back on St. Maarten after very successful shows on Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, after having played a handful of shows in Southern California. Summing up their tour so far, Michael had this to say, "This Summer has been epic for OG! We have been making some seriously sweet moves and the music is taking us to such amazing places and we are meeting so many great people along the way. We kind of hope this summer never ends!"
After their Loterie Farm concert, they will be flying back to the Netherlands the following day where they will be performing at the Gouden Pijl festival in Emmen and then a few days later traveling to Hoya, Germany, for the H&P Open Air Festival.
Percy Rankin and the Bonfire Band will be performing as well, just like they fabulously do every Garden Groove Saturday. The band's foundation is reggae music; they are very versatile and perform a variety of music besides reggae, such as zouk, calypso, dancehall, R&B and jazz to accommodate the crowd and venue! Meet up with everybody and enjoy the great vibe that wonderful people and two awesome bands will bring, while entertaining us under the stars in such a beautiful location!
Entrance is free and Loterie Farm will have great drinks and food available in the garden.
