The Sky’s the Limit

~ A Lolo worth remembering ~

With the return of Le Mardi de Grand Case – the famed “Tuesday Nights” – it’s good to know where to settle in for the evening long street party, parade and general merrymaking. Gather your gang and head off to Sky’s the Limit, the first Lolo along the side of the main road in Grand Case.

Why the Sky? Simple, nice folks, great food and good prices! For a cool 10 bucks, you get more food than most can eat, and it’s super tasty, prepared with love and served with a smile. What more could you possibly ask for?!

Sky’s the Limit has 10 years under its belt so they must be doing something right. Jacqueline and Emile know their Creole – and their barbeque – that’s for sure. The flavours are spot on delicious; and don’t miss out on the Johnny cakes: They are the best!

We stopped by for lunch on Monday last week and enjoyed plenty of delicious ribs and fish and all the sides! The meats are grilled fresh and smoked to perfection right on the patio. The sides include yummy rice with peas, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, green salad, and potato salad. The kids in our group had some grilled chicken with fries. We all had ice cold drinks: Coors Light, Club Soda, Carib, Presidente and Ting to wet our whistles!

After the lunch, we strolled along the Lolo Porch, gazed out at the beach, the boats, the blue-blue sea, ah...yes! Paradise indeed! Then we did a little shopping for good measure and then packed up the car and were on our way without a care in the world. Life’s good on The Friendly Island if you take the slow lane now and then!
