Do you want to spend your Valentine evening with your loved one having great food, watching an amazing show and dancing the night away? Get your tickets now for the Valentine Buffet Dinner, Show & Dance, presented by the Commonwealth of Dominica Foundation at the tent at Port de Plaisance.
The event takes place on February 12, starting at 8:00pm. You can expect to have an amazing dinner and be entertained to the fullest till 3:00am for just $40! Not only will you have a great time, you will also help to raise funds to assist rebuilding projects in Dominica.
The evening features performances by Ophelia Marie & C-Square from Dominica, who will be playing romantic ballads and easy listening music perfect for a romantic night out.
Ophelia emerged and became Dominica’s first cadence female singer to achieve international star status. She is considered to be the “Godmother of Cadence,” and has toured widely in France and had concerts broadcast over much of the Francophone world. Her signature tune is “Ay Dominique,” which was also her first recording and became an iconic anthem for Dominicans.
Dynamic husband and wife duo Cornell and Carlyn Phillip started C-Square in January 2014. With Cornell working magic on the keyboards and Carlyn’s sultry vocals, C-Square became an immediate hit, with patrons from cruise ship tourist to locals. Cornell’s musical creativity along with Carlyn’s vocal versatility and her ability to make every song her own, adding that unique Dominican and Creole flair to all music genres, ranging from hip-hop, pop, rock, reggae and more, makes C-Square an unadulterated crowd pleaser. They will get you on the floor to dance, sing along and feel good about letting the music take control.
This amazing event is your chance to watch, listen and dance to both acts live! After dinner, to get your feet moving, DJ Dave Nice & Rohie Riddym will be playing your favourite tunes.
When you arrive at the fully decorated tent, you will be handed a bubbly glass of champagne. Buffet dinner, provided by Duzon Catering, will include choices of meat, chicken and fish, a number of mouth-watering sides and salads and a number of delicious desserts.
