Walk for your health with MHF

Ditch the partying this weekend and take some time out for your health by participating in Mental Health Foundation’s (MHF) “Brain Power Walk/Run and Breakfast” this Sunday, May 29, at 6:30am.

Walkers will start at Kim Sha Beach then head to Union Road in Cole Bay, onto the crossing of the Causeway Bridge and back to Kim Sha Beach, where a healthy breakfast will be served. Registration fee is $10 and includes the breakfast and a T-shirt. Registration forms are available at MHF in Cay Hill, ENNIA and Van Dorp.

Be sure to pick up the valuable information about mental health and its services available locally after the walk run. Sponsored by ENNIA, the event is open to the public, including you. MHF urges everyone to come out in numbers to walk for their mental health, which has positive effects on the brain.

Before the walk, educate yourself at the two panel discussions that MHF is holding today, Thursday, May 26, at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. The topics are “Children’s Mental Health Wellbeing” starting at 7:15pm and “The Costs of Mental Illness” at 8:30pm. Attendees can register their name, mobile number and choice of panel by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
