Need a good meal at a good price with a festive atmosphere that will remind you that you live in a place others pay thousands of dollars just to visit? You gotta try Gizmo’s! The party is always on, the beach is gorgeous, the food scrumptious and the service is professional and friendly!
My friend and I visited Gizmo’s for a quick bite this Monday, and much to our surprise, the place was jumping! There was live music, dancing, romancing, and quite crowded with people in the mood to live it up! Nice change from my normal Monday routine!
We ordered nachos as an appetizer and had some cool drinks. Our waitress was busy, but handled the tasks with a smile and efficiency that speaks to her talent and training. We felt like tourists on holiday, enjoying the beach scene, and even shopping at the artisan’s tables set up along the walkway.
In no time at all we got our dinners: fish and chips for my friend and a Divi Burger for myself. Generous quantities of fries accompanied each entree. The fish was pronounced light and delicious, served with a home-made tartar sauce and plenty of lemon. My hamburger was, wait for it, excellent! I can truly promote this burger as one of the top two on the island. The flavour was impeccable and the quality of the meat was top notch.
By the way, Gizmo’s Bar and Grill gets its name from a resident parrot, who hangs around Divi Little Bay Resort, a gorgeous red macaw with an attitude. Gizmo’s fan club includes all time- share owners and all the staff of the resort – he deserves such devotion – as he rules over the property with much pomp and privilege.
Come out for the big parties on Monday and Thursday, or the smaller parties any other day, and get to know Gizmo. Enjoy some good food, get in a swim, and remember what makes this little island a world-class destination. The people of Divi are taking care of those tourists in the right way, with smiles, talent, and personal investment. Get in on a little of that action at Gizmo’s Bar and Grill.
