Are you all set for the evening?
Several fun things have been added to the St. Maarten Zoological and Botanical Garden Foundation’s grand fundraising Dinner and Dance Gala, which will be held at Zoo Rock Café in Simpson Bay this Saturday, September 3, from 7:00pm.
Added to the attractions is a door prize from Insel Air – a lucky patron will receive a round trip ticket to the Dominican Republic – and many more silent auction prizes, such as artwork, airline tickets, hotel stays, dinner vouchers, and biking and kayaking trips.
The dinner and dance gala is being sponsored by St. Maarten Timeshare Association and 100 per cent of the proceeds raised will go towards helping the zoo create an educational atmosphere for tourists and residents alike, with various insights into the flora and fauna of St. Maarten and the neo-tropical region of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Patrons will be treated to a delectable three-course dinner with options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The evening will culminate with entertainment by Control Band and Youth Waves Band. DJ Pebbles will be spinning at the turntables for your pleasure.
Support this event for a kind “donation” of US $100 per person, or purchase a ticket for $50 and get a light platter of tasty hors d’oeuvres and top-shelf drink options.
Tickets are available at St. Maarten Zoo in Madame Estate, The Daily Herald on Bush Road, Island Pet Shop, Healthy Iguana Veterinary Services and from all board members of the Zoo.
