Where community and togetherness shine
The Christmas Angels program is where love, connection, and the spirit of giving come together to make the holidays brighter for those in need.
This project thrives on participation from all corners – individuals, families, organisations, and businesses. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Participating as a group is a meaningful way to bond with loved ones while spreading joy. Families, friends, or colleagues can even adopt multiple angels to maximise their impact.
At the heart of this initiative are the volunteers, whose dedication makes it all possible. Every year, 30+ individuals give their time, bringing joy, enthusiasm, and a positive spirit that inspires us to do better for those around us.
From children to seniors crafting handmade angels, to businesses and families adopting them, this program reflects St. Maarten’s deep sense of care and community.
Don’t wait! Be part of this heartwarming experience this weekend. Visit the K1 Britannia Christmas Angels Program at the Government Building daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm until Monday, December 2, 2024, or at Cost U Less on Saturday and Sunday only (1:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday at both locations).
Arrive early to choose from over 500 Christmas Angels, each handmade with love by 13+ participating organisations and schools. By selecting an angel, you directly touch someone’s life and spread holiday cheer to those who need it most.
This program embodies what St. Maarten is built on – community and care for one another. Let’s keep the spirit alive! Be your brother’s or sister’s keeper, and help us look out for one another.
Come out today or this weekend, select one or more angels, and return your gifts by Monday, December 2nd at 6:00pm at the Government Building. Remember, all gifts must be returned on time to ensure they reach those in need this Christmas!
“This program is fun, engaging, creative, and personal. That’s what makes it truly special. I love seeing everyone come together each year,” shares Chiaira Bowers, Manager at K1 Britannia Foundation.
Together, let’s spread joy, hope, and the true meaning of Christmas across St. Maarten.
