Since reopening to international flights, Aruba up to Sunday received 11,000 tourists.
The month will end with an estimated 14,000 visitors, double the number originally expected. New projections for August range between 19,000 and 25,000, with an average hotel room occupancy of around 18 per cent. Timeshare resorts had 33 per cent occupancy in July and foresee 37 per cent in August.
