AUC Community Action Day at Philipsburg Jubilee Library

PHILIPSBURG--Students of American University of the Caribbean (AUC), in collaboration with Philipsburg Jubilee Library, are scheduled to be at the Library as part of their Community Action Day on Saturday, June 16, from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

AUC’s medical students once again will be teaching children about the digestive system and diabetes, which is one of the most common chronic conditions in St. Maarten.

In addition, students will be engaged in art and craft activities and demonstrations that represent the digestive system, as well as interactive games to understand and prevent diseases. All interested children are welcome to join this “really fun and educational day,” according to the Library in a press release.
