MPs meet on administrative jurisdiction draft law today

PHILIPSBURG--Parliament sits in a Central Committee meeting in Parliament House today, Monday, at 10:00am to handle the draft law amending the existing administrative jurisdiction law and the proposal to form an ad hoc committee of the legislature to examine electoral reform.

Justice Minister Cornelius de Weever will be present for the discussion on the law change.

The public meeting was originally scheduled for February 7, but was postponed until further notice.

Also on today’s agenda is the approval by Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Central Committee meetings decision lists for the Parliamentary Year 2017-2018.
