AIRPORT--The heads of all the Dutch Caribbean airports signed a cooperation agreement during a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, April 28. This formalised the creation of the so-called Dutch Caribbean Cooperation of Airports (DCCA).
The DCCA seeks to foster mutual assistance, knowledge exchange and expertise sharing between the airports. The collaboration will cover issues such as innovation, sustainability; health, safety and security regulations; emergency assistance and response; stable and affordable air connections, infrastructure and project management.
During the ceremony, the airport heads expressed their commitment to start preparing a “road map” to make the Dutch Caribbean a regional “front runner in [coronavirus COVID-19 – Ed.] testing.”
