Empowering youth

St. Maarten AIDS Foundation delivered a two-hour presentation as a follow-up to its Real Talk workshop to 35 fourth-formers at Methodist Agogic Center-Comprehensive Secondary Education (MAC-CSE) last week Thursday.

Second-form boys and first-form girls participated in the Real Talk and Girl Power workshops held sometime back. The follow-up or “booster programme” reinforces what was taught in Real Talk and Girl Power and gives additional information on sexual health, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and the dangers of social media if used incorrectly. Students are pictured in the top and bottom photo with certificates of completion they received after the programme, with programme facilitators.
