PHILIPSBURG--Motorists will have to pay three guilder cents more per litre for gasoline and two guilder cents more for diesel fuel come Thursday.
The change on Thursday will take the per litre price for gasoline from NAf. 2.14 to NAf. 2.17 and for diesel fuel from NAf. 1.66 to NAf. 1.68.
This is the second gasoline price increase levied by government in two weeks. The previous increase saw the per litre price for gas move from NAf. 2.07 to the current price and for diesel from NAf. 1.61.
The price increase is in keeping with world market prices, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Transportation TEATT.
