Three security employees of Saba’s Juancho Yrausquin Airport took part in a training on Thursday to learn about the specifics of dangerous goods, and how to detect and handle them.
The two other security employees will be trained today, Friday. Airport Manager Maegan Hassell explained that it concerned a refresher course which has to be done every two years, as required by Dutch aviation authorities ILT. The training was facilitated by aviation logistics from Curaçao, which is certified by the ILT.
