Some 60 senior citizens were recently treated to a post-Valentine’s Day luncheon at the Senior Citizens Recreational Centre in Hope Estate.
The lunch is usually held by the St. Maarten Senior Citizens Recreational Foundation on or close to Valentine’s Day, but shortage of funds delayed the event this year. Foundation President Marva Hanson is thankful for the assistance of the St. Maarten Development Fund (SMDF) for its assistance in making the lunch happen for the seniors.
