This afternoon through Saturday midday: Partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy, with brief passing showers.

SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Saturday midday: East to east-northeast with a moderate to fresh breeze of 13 to 22 mph and higher gusts.

 

SYNOPSIS:  

The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain a stable atmosphere and brisk winds for the next several days. However, patches of low-level clouds moving in the wind flow will cause brief showers from time to time.

Rough seas are forecast to persist throughout the next week or so, peaking up to 9 feet in some areas. Small craft operators and sea bathers are strongly advised to exercise caution due to these hazardous conditions.

 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Moderate to Rough    WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 9 feet
