Minister of VSA distributes  protective masks received

Minister of VSA receiving donated protective masks from Shop 4 Less owners.

 

~ Urges businesses to join in the fight against COVID-19 ~

 

PHILIPSBURG--The Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA received more than 500 protective face masks from Shop 4 Less, and Barefoot Group of companies.

  This was announced in a press release on Saturday, April 11.

  On April 7 Emile and Joycelyn Wathey reached out to the Minister of VSA Richard Panneflek for this donation to aid in the fight against COVID-19. “With this donation, the Minister was able to distribute face masks within the different Ministries and also provided the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard with 150 face masks,” said the release.

  The minister along with his department expressed their gratitude to both business for their contribution.

  Panneflek said he welcomes all businesses interested in joining the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in St. Maarten.
