PHILIPSBURG--The Finance Ministry on Friday released the long-awaited list of businesses that received payroll support under the St. Maarten Stimulus and Relief Plan (SSRP).
The list shows the businesses that received payroll support in April and May.
“An average of NAf. 13 million per month in payroll support was subsidised by the government of St. Maarten, which assisted in paying more than 6,100 employees per month. Once again, we would like to thank our executing partners [Social and Health Insurances – Ed.] SZV for their continued support through this process,” said the Finance Ministry in a statement on Friday.
Persons who have not received their salary for April and May, but see their employer’s name on the list are requested to contact government’s Labour Department.
Finance Minister Ardwell Irion reminds the public that applications for June payroll support is open until Friday, August 14. The portal can be accessed via
