Prices for diesel fuel and unleaded gasoline go up

PHILIPSBURG--Due to developments on the international markets during which the prices of crude oil experienced upward adjustments for unleaded gasoline and for diesel fuel, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication has decided to increase the maximum consumer prices at the pumps for these types of fuel.

  The price of unleaded gasoline will go up by nine cents from the current price of NAf. 2.088 per litre to the new price of NAf. 2.177 per litre, as of Thursday, October 18.

  At the same date and time, the price of diesel fuel will be increased from NAf. 1.748 to new price of NAf. 1.816 per litre.
