A drier and more stable atmosphere in the wake of a frontal boundary will restrict precipitation during this forecast period. The Atlantic high-pressure ridge will maintain mostly moderate winds.
Long period northerly swells will cause seas to peak at 10 feet with gradual improvement as the weekend approaches. Therefore, a small craft advisory is in effect for St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
