This afternoon through Monday midday: Easterly with a gentle to moderate breeze of 08 to 16 miles per hour and higher gusts possible.

SYNOPSIS:

Moisture and instability associated with a weak low level trough will cause occasional cloudy periods and isolated showers across the local area. Meanwhile, the Atlantic high-pressure ridge will maintain brisk easterly winds across the region.

Marine conditions will slowly improve from today as winds are expected to decrease. Nevertheless, a small craft advisory remains in effect until Monday morning. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
