SYNOPSIS:
A strong Atlantic high-pressure system will maintain brisk winds across the region. In addition, moisture at the lower level of the atmosphere associated with the tail end of a frontal boundary will cause cloudy periods and isolated showers.
Seas are expected to peak near 9 feet as northeasterly swells and strong winds continue to affect regional waters. A small craft advisory remains in effect until Saturday. Sea bathers and small craft operators are strongly advised to exercise caution.
