SYNOPSIS:
Instability in the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere coupled with a slight moisture surge will account for cloudy periods, occasional showers, some of which could be heavy and a low chance of isolated thunderstorms across the region. Additionally, the strengthened Atlantic high pressure system will maintain mostly brisk winds.
Seas are expected to peak near 9 feet during the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution, especially at the northern and eastern shores.
