SYNOPSIS:
The combination of a mid to upper level trough and a tropical wave will account for isolated showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across the region. Saharan dust at varying concentrations will continue to affect the region, therefore, persons with allergies and/or respiratory illnesses should take the necessary precautions.
Slight to moderate marine conditions are expected for the next few days.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
- A broad area of low pressure is located over the eastern tropical Atlantic. Gradual development of this system is possible early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
- A tropical wave located off the coast of west Africa is merging with another disturbance resulting in an extensive area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Development of this system is likely to be slow during the next couple of days while it moves west-northwestward at about 15 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent.
