SPECIAL FEATURE:
Tropical Depression #17 developed into Tropical Storm Paulette at 11:00am at about 1375 miles east of St. Maarten.
Its maximum sustained winds are 40 mph and its current path takes this system north of the island towards the end of the week.
As of 11:00am, Tropical Depression #18 was located about 2405 miles east-southeast of St. Maarten.
Its maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph and its current path takes this system well north of St. Maarten early next week.
