SYNOPSIS:
Lingering moisture and instability in wake of a tropical wave could still trigger a few brief isolated showers across the local area during this forecast period. However, a round of Saharan dust will enter the region and aid in restricting precipitation across the local area.
Seas are expected to peak at 7 feet today. The strengthened Atlantic high-pressure ridge and wind surge associated with another tropical wave approaching the region will generate rough seas from tomorrow. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. An advisory will be issued Thursday morning.
STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet
SPECIAL FEATURES: None.
