The interaction of a tropical wave and an upper level trough is producing cloudiness and moderate to heavy showers across the region. Persons in flood-prone areas should remain vigilant as additional showers could result in localized flooding.
Thereafter, an influx of Saharan dust is expected from tomorrow. This will aid in restricting precipitation across the local area. However, persons with respiratory illnesses and/or allergies should take the necessary precautions.

Marine conditions continue to be rough. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue exercising caution. Above normal sea conditions are predicted to prevail for the next several days.
