Sarah at UN

Terrorism and extremism, gender affairs, human rights and migration and geopolitics were just a few of the subjects that the Dutch Kingdom delegation dealt with in meetings with the United Nations Security Council and other UN agencies in New York this week. For the first time, Aruba and St. Maarten are represented in the Kingdom delegation. Parliamentarian Sarah Wescot-Williams is representing the country. Wescot Williams outlined the St. Maarten situation on Tuesday with regard to migration and natural disasters for the small islands in development (SIDS).
