Statia welcomes first baby girl born in 2018

ST. EUSTATIUS--The first baby for the year 2018 was delivered in Queen Beatrix Medical Center in St. Eustatius on Wednesday, January 3.

  Baby girl Jennifer Angelie Lall was born around 9:23am; she weighed-in at 2,960 grams and has a length of 29 centimetres.

  Proud mother Amrita Lall-Paul and father Jason Lall displayed their beautiful daughter for the lenses of The Daily Herald’s camera.

  Proud big sister Jenny Analisa Lall was in awe of her baby sister and just kept looking at her smiling. Proud grandmother Edith Lall was also all smiles at the Medical Center.

  Dr. George Odongo was the doctor on call who delivered the baby. He was assisted by nurses Analisa Canwood and Tara Hersisia.
