The event aimed to cater to 200 seniors from different homes, and despite weather conditions, a great turnout of 180 seniors had a wonderful time.

In honour of International Day of the Elderly, the foundation will host another event for seniors on October 1. The dinner musical entertainment event will be held on the French side of the island.

On August 6, the Foundation presented its first Back to School Give Back event. The event, which took place at #182 Backstreet at the Reading Rainbow Nursery and Afternoon School, blessed 200 pupils with school supplies for the new school year. Many parents showed up with their children to celebrate and collect their school supplies.

The Together We Can Foundation said it envisions every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. Unfortunately, this vision can be hampered for many families by

already stretched budgets. The Back to School Give Back event provided pupils in different communities with the supplies they need to succeed this school year.
