ANGUILLA--The UK Ministry of Justice recently supported a three-month deployment of two UK prison officers to Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) in Anguilla. Governor Dileeni Daniel Selvaratnam met with Chris Alderman, Custodial Manager from HMP Cardiff and Alec Moon, Prison Officer from HMP Isle of Wight, to discuss their deployment.

She discussed the recommendations they have made and thanked them for their work over the last three months.

They gave support to Superintendent Sasso and the HMP Anguilla senior management team to review existing systems to help strengthen the operating regime and build capability. As part of the deployment, the UK officers delivered training and development across the workforce to refresh knowledge and skills.
