Nowadays, I still wonder how our parents got the news so fast when radios and telephones were luxuries. Because even with the technology nowadays, the message is not as accurate as then. What I think is that technology is only second to the Almighty when it concerns hidden secrets. It is just that the different entities take interest in what concerns them.
Gossipers take interest in gossip, just as politicians take interest in what can profit them in their quest, no matter what. This makes it easy for me to write to you, because those whom it concerns and have the authority and ability to do something about it, know that there is sense to what is written.
More than normal attention was given to that accident caused by Minister Giterson, in comparison to other accidents (i.e. fatal accidents) to which I asked myself: "What interest does the paper have in keeping this story alive?" I have also written several times that the prosecutor has certain responsibilities where it concerns keeping an eye on the police work, but there was no reaction. Now I read that the Minister of Justice is accused of not standing up enough against the Dutch.
My question to all is: Do we really not remember anything that happened to our own people? Was not Holiday punished for standing up against the Dutch? And was there not a question of shredded notes? Do those who want to get rid of the Minister of Justice care to know if he is allowed to get involved in what they want him to or not?
I will repeat this is not a US state, people. Even Donald Trump openly said not to believe what you hear and read. So, when I read the reason why the Minister of Justice was asked to step down, I laughed, because I strongly believe that the coalition wants him to interfere where he is not allowed to.
Our people in government continue to play themselves in the hands of the Dutch, while selling out our own. Technology is so far that even the everyday man (layman) with a little ambition can find out things about the law. Like I mentioned before, nothing remains a secret anymore. So, after reading the passport story, I asked myself, if it is so that the big boys take care of each other, do they also get rid of each other. Who short-changed whom? On whose page are we?
