During the period December 6 at 4:28pm to December 7 at 9:50am, a burst of 54 earthquakes occurred north of St. Kitts. The events were in the magnitude range of 1.2 to 4.1. There have been no “felt” reports thus far. A preliminary epi-central plot by the University of the West Indies’ Seismic Research Centre shows the 24 events for which there were locations, as of Saturday, December 8.
