Bengals sweep Browns for Ohio bragging rights

OHIO- - The Cincinnati Bengals swept the Battle of Ohio, and swept it with a broom stretching sideline to sideline.
The Bengals overwhelmed the Cleveland Browns 37-3 on Sunday behind three touchdowns by quarterback Andy Dalton for their 10th victory of the season.

The Bengals (10-2) were dominant from beginning to end and strengthened their hold on the AFC North with four games remaining in the regular season. Dalton had a 3-yard run for a score and threw a pair of TD passes.
"This was huge," said Bengals running back Jeremy Hill, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown. "We want to win the North and have home field (advantage) and win the Super Bowl. We're taking it week by week. It's been working, so why change it?"
The Browns (2-10) are heading the opposite direction.
The loss was their seventh straight. Cleveland has been outscored by the Bengals 98-13 in the last three games dating back to December of 2014 when the Bengals won, 30-0, in Cleveland in the first game started by Johnny Manziel.
"It's tough; it's frustrating," Browns head coach Mike Pettine said. "You find out who you are. It's a healthy dose of adversity. When things finally turn the other way, this is what you remember."
The Browns' record is the worst in the league after 12 games.
"Once we get down so much we're not able to fight back," Browns linebacker Paul Kruger said. "That's what we can't allow ourselves to do. We can't stop the momentum."
Cincinnati wide receiver A.J. Green paid tribute to his quarterback.
"We play hard and we play for each other," Green said. "We let the score take care of itself. We're just making plays. The way Andy is playing is unbelievable."
Dalton completed 14 of 19 passes with no interceptions and had a passer rating of 146.8.

 Seahawks 38, Vikings 7
The Seattle Seahawks scored five touchdowns in six drives and dominated the Minnesota Vikings 38-7.
Russell Wilson accounted for four touchdowns on the day and threw for 274 yards for the Seahawks, who won their third consecutive game and moved to within a game of the Vikings in the NFC wild card standings.
Minnesota was embarrassed on its home field for the second time in three weeks.

The Bengals (10-2) were dominant from beginning to end and strengthened their hold on the AFC North lead. Dalton had a 3-yard run for a score and threw a pair of TD passes.
The Browns (2-10) are heading in the opposite direction, with seven straight losses.

  Buccaneers 23, Falcons 19
Rookie quarterback Jameis Winston threw a touchdown pass to receiver Mike Evans with 1:39 left to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 23-19 comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bucs (6-6) went 80 yards on the touchdown drive, with Winston converting a third-and-19 with a wild 20-yard scramble.
The win keeps the Bucs alive for the wild card, while the Falcons (6-6) have dropped five in a row and six of seven games after a 5-0 start.

  Dolphins 15, Ravens 13
Two rookies making their first NFL starts -- wide receiver DeVante Parker and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips -- made big plays to lead the Miami Dolphins past the Baltimore Ravens 15-13.
With another close finish, Baltimore became the first team in NFL history to have its first 12 games decided by eight or fewer points.
The Dolphins (5-7) remain on the outer fringes of the playoff picture. Baltimore (4-8) is virtually out of the race.

  Cardinals 27, Rams 3
Carson Palmer completed 26 of 40 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns as the Arizona Cardinals trampled the St. Louis Rams 27-3 for their sixth straight win.
In improving to 10-2, the Cardinals maintained a three-game lead over Seattle in the NFC West. The Rams (4-8) lost their fifth straight game and clinched their 12th consecutive non-winning season.

  Jets 23, Giants 20 (overtime)
New York Giants kicker Josh Brown's franchise record ended at 29 straight field-goal attempts made when he pulled a 48-yarder wide left, helping the New York Jets to a 23-20 overtime win.
The Jets (7-5), down 20-10 at the half, got home when kicker Randy Bullock scored the 31-yard game-winner to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Giants (5-7) got a fifth-straight 100-yard receiving performance form Odell Beckham Jr. (six receptions for 149 yards, one touchdown).

  49ers 26, Bears 20 (overtime)
Blaine Gabbert's 71-yard touchdown pass to Torrey Smith after 2:10 of overtime gave the San Francisco 49ers an improbable 26-20 victory over the Chicago Bears.
It was the 49ers' first road victory after five defeats, most of them by lopsided scores.
With the scores tied late in the fourth quarter, Chicago (5-7) brought in Robbie Gould for a 36-yard field goal attempt as time expired, but it was wide left.

  Bills 30, Texans 21
Tyrod Taylor accounted for four touchdowns and engineered a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter to lead the Buffalo Bills to a 30-21 win over the Houston Texans.
Taylor was 11-of-21 passing for 211 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 28 yards and another score as the Bills (6-6) snapped a two-game losing streak. Taylor also extended his streak without an interception to 187 attempts, a Bills record.
The Texans (6-6) had a four-game winning streak snapped.

  Titans 42, Jaguars 39
The Tennessee Titans scored twice in 44 seconds late in the fourth quarter to end their 11-game home losing streak with a 42-39 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Titans (3-9) were getting close to the NFL record of 14 straight home losses shared by Dallas (1988-89) and St. Louis (2008-10).
Tennessee trailed by four when quarterback Marcus Mariota showed off his speed with an 87-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
