St. Maarten Boxers Stephan Duzong (l) and Malcolm Phillips competed in Curabox’s Roll With the Punches Tournament Saturday evening.
Duzong won his match in the first round. Phillips fight went the distance, but he lost in a split decision. “Malcolm fought a very great fight,” said his coach Earl Duzong (c). “That fight could have gone either way, but I still felt my boxer won.” The boxers are due to return to St. Maarten today.
