ANTIGUA--For the second year in a row the Budget Marine Micron 99 team has won their class at Antigua Sailing Wee . Two of the core members, Robbie Ferron and Steve Elsworth also took a win at the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta in March.

In the Antigua regatta the team was sailing a converted 6 meter sloop called Biwi Magic. Last year’s vessel the J 39 Ossenfeffer sank in Hurricane Irma. In this regatta the points were very close going into the final race and in order to win it required the team to beat the owner of the borrowed boat, Geoffery Pidduck on his Bavaria yacht Minerva. The final race found Biwi Magic taking a second place and Minerva fourth.
Antigua Sailing week had 120 vessels sailing over 6 days with one rest day called a “lay day”. The entire week brought stiff breezes in every single race . It signals the end of season of major races in the Northern Caribbean .
