Can coffee beans really reduce cellulite?

Pour one cup of coffee beans and grind or get the leftover coffee grounds from the filter (at work like I do; it’ll be thrown away anyways) – the main ingredient in this scrub.

Research has shown that when coffee is applied to the skin over a few weeks it will reduce cellulite by 17%. Isn’t that amazing?! Something so simple and so easy can be so useful.

To make this, add sea salt, mix and add the coconut oil (if it’s solid, take your time mixing). It holds the mixture together – which is great – so that you don’t waste any in the shower.

Coconut oil adds a lot of moisture back to the skin after exfoliating and coffee has many properties that signal your body to re-grow tissue. If you use this on any acne scars or stretch marks, you can notice dramatic fading over a few weeks.

For cellulite, put on the back of your legs in small circular motions to get the blood flowing, leave on for a minute, use it at least once a week, but no more than twice. Stay consistent but don’t exfoliate!

DIY cellulite, acne scar and stretch mark removal scrub

Ingredients:

1 cup ground coffee (not instant)

3 tablespoons sea salt or sugar

6 tablespoons of coconut oil

Mix together and apply to legs, arms, stomach and face to fade and prevent/remove acne scars, cellulite and stretch marks.

Or make a soap! Think ice-tray and the ingredients, mix it a little thicker, maybe add a scented all-natural essential oil or vanilla essence!
